The EFLS opens a space of information, communication and participation

The EFLS systematically leads information campaigns about how isolated some people are and how important local solidarity is in that case. These campaigns are meant to reach both the decision makers and the institutions in order to incorporate them in the process but also the citizens themselves as they are the prime actors of the creation of social bonds in neighbourhoods. We wish to develop thus a true spirit of solidarity and an active solidarity.

Because local solidarity needs values such as brotherhood and daily aide to be entrenched which requires a full education scheme stressing the gist of these values, the EFLS is developed communication operations specifically orientated towards the children as tomorrow they will be the main actors of local solidarity.

The EFLS is also a space of unremitting information-gathering on policies at all levels (EU, National and local), actions or thinking processes lead on the different fields of competence of the EFLS. This information pooling is destined to its members but also any person interested in the activities of the EFLS.

Finally, the EFLS is also a space where European citizens can get involved and where they can meet each other so as to develop betters ways of living together and means to counteract social exclusion.

Through exchanges and networking and thanks to the constitution of social platforms and because of its far reaching information the EFLS puts forward the notions of solidarity, sociability and brotherhood thus enhancing the comprehension of European values.
